Biography

Wayne Robinson has served as a City Commissioner since January 2024 and represents Ward Three on the Rome City Commission. He was elected Mayor Pro Tem at the commission’s first meeting of 2026.

Robinson is the founder and owner of Robinson Holdings LLC, a Rome-based real estate development company, and has operated successful food-service franchises since 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate Development from the University of Georgia, grounding his public policy work in practical industry knowledge.

As Commissioner, Robinson helps shape city policies, ordinances, zoning decisions, and the annual budget. He chairs the Finance Committee and serves on the Joint Services Committee, Community Redevelopment Committee and Fire Overview Committee, promoting fiscal responsibility, public safety, and investment in Rome’s growth.

With over three decades of business and community development experience, Robinson is committed to responsible growth, strategic investment, and transparent governance. A lifelong resident of Rome, he works to create opportunities and enhance quality of life for all citizens.
